Waxing & Sugaring

Whichever you choose, rest assured that our estheticians are highly skilled and experienced in performing both waxing and sugaring techniques.
Waxing and sugaring are two widely used techniques for hair removal, each exhibiting distinct characteristics...
  1. Ingredients: Waxing uses a sticky wax made from resins, beeswax, or other synthetic materials, while sugaring involves a paste made from natural ingredients like sugar, lemon juice, and water.

  2. Application: Wax is applied in the direction of hair growth and removed against it using cloth strips. Sugaring paste is applied against the hair growth and removed in the direction of growth with the hands.

  3. Adherence: Wax can adhere to the skin, leading to potential discomfort during removal. Sugaring paste adheres mainly to the hair, resulting in less pulling on the skin and potentially less pain.

  4. Residue and Clean-up: Wax can leave behind sticky residue, requiring additional clean-up with oils or solvents. Sugaring paste is water-soluble and easily cleaned off with water.

  5. Sensitivity: Some people with sensitive skin may find sugaring less irritating than waxing, as it's less likely to cause redness or inflammation.

There you have it! If waxing leaves your skin feeling aggravated, consider giving sugaring a try, as it is more suitable for sensitive skin. Either way, both techniques provide long-lasting hair removal results.
